CARMEN 2008 CARMENERE RESERVA
The carmenère grape was first “discovered” in Chile in the vineyards of Vina Carmen. This new listing shows a rich nose of cassis, cocoa and roasted rosemary. It’s supple, full and engaging—a bit candied—with a ripe cassis finish. Some alcohol heat and green tannin lingers, as well. Enjoy now to 2014. LCBO 169052
