CALITERRA 2008 BIO - SUR CARMENERE RESERVA ESPECIAL

This new listing defines Chilean carmenère—like it or leave it. It’s dark, with lifted cassis-blueberry, green pepper, dill and roasted coffee bean. It’s dense, solid and powerful—lacking refinement, but it has flavour by the pound. The finish is typically carmenère, a bit green and tannic but so true to form it can’t be faulted.
