Vintner Martin Malivoire is “guilty” of straying from his original focus on pinot and chardonnay to follow the popularity of blended whites. His combo of sauvignon blanc, riesling and chardonnay presents a lifted herbal, spicy and fruit nose, with lime, green pepper and honeydew melon. It’s vigorous, juicy and spicy, with a snappy lime-grapefruit finish. The sauvignon element is key to its individuality and success. LCBO 192666
