Jackson - Triggs 2007 Proprietors' Reserve Meritage
The careful blend of cabernet and merlot nicely catches the ripeness of the 2007 vintage and the restraint and balance of Bordeaux reds (upon which Meritage blends are modelled). Sweet ripe berry, chocolate, cedar and dried herb flavours are evenly proportioned. It’s mid-weight and fleshy, but stays compact and dry without being austere or too tannic. Best 2010 to 2013.
