Jackson - Triggs 2007 Cabernet Franc Rosé
This could be the year that pink wine evolves from an insipid red wine cast-off to a semi-regal wine of richness and complexity. With a lovely ruby pink shade, it shows surprisingly complex raspberry-cranberry fruit, white pepper and tobacco (a cab franc signature). Medium bodied, quite fleshy and rounded, with a dry, warm anise finish. LCBO 79467
