Hillebrand 2007 Trius Merlot
The new vintage has yielded impressive fruit ripeness, with floral, raspberry and herbal tea notes. Generous smoky, toasty oak adds chocolate and coffee notes. It’s mid-weight, elegant and finely textured, with very good length. Aussie winemaker Darryl Brooker is doing great things. LCBO 587907
