This barrel-aged sauvignon blanc, sourced from the winery-owned Rosomel Vineyard, shows lovely, exotic flavours of fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary), nutmeg and a citrus salad of grapefruit and tangerine. Great intensity on the palate, with excellent length. Pair it with goat cheese, pear and walnut salad. Available May 1, 2008. www.hidden bench.com.
