Blending a dash of the white viognier grape produces a kinder, gentler shiraz. Well-integrated aromas of blackberry, chocolate, clove and tobacco on the palate, finishing with fairly good length. Mid-weight, firm and dry, though not the least bit austere. Best now to 2012. LCBO 624494
