Wolf Blass 2006 Pinot Noir
Good pinot character is tough to achieve inexpensively. This wine comes close, with fragrant raspberry, beetroot, cinnamon and pine flavours. Quite intense, almost sour, with very good length. Give it a year in the bottle to calm down. Best 2008 to 2010.
