This is a very good, affordable cabernet that doesn’t resort to cheap tricks like over-oaking. Lifted red pepper, cassis and chocolate, with background oak. The wine is medium-full bodied, fairly dense and even, with youthful, sinewy tannin. Best 2008 to 2011.
