Penfolds 2006 Koonunga Hill Cabernet Sauvignon
A very suave young cabernet with a lovely, genteel nose of perfectly ripened blackcurrant, violets, vanilla and tobacco aromas. Medium-full bodied, it’s smooth, elegant and fresh, with very good to excellent length. Enjoyable now, but should really hit its stride about 2010 and live well into the next decade. LCBO 45625
