This vintage was re-tasted and re-rated in summer 2008, and it now emerges as one of the best Aussie cabs on the general list. A great example of a regional Coonawarra cab, with classic cassis, eucalyptus, tobacco and well-integrated oak. Medium-full bodied, nicely proportioned and smooth; cabernet’s infamous tannins are tamed here, but not too much. Very good length. Best now to 2012. LCBO 620070
