TRAPICHE 2009 ASTICA MERLOT MALBEC
Cuyo is a new, very broad wine region encompassing Mendoza, San Juan and other contiguous provinces in central-west Argentina. This has a generous smoky, blackberry, licorice aroma. It’s medium to full bodied and fairly dense, with good power for an $8 wine. It’s also a bit coarse, tannic and green, but loaded with fruit. LCBO 359075
