Masi Tupungato Passo Doble 2007 Malbec Corvina
Masi of Italy has set up shop in Mendoza, importing the corvina grape and the ripasso technique made famous in Valpolicella, and blending in Argentina’s malbec. The result is a rich, lush, svelte red with black cherry, vanilla, mocha and spice, plus a scent of sun-dried tomato for Italian flair. It’s smooth and charming, with a sweet and sour finish. Drink now or hold up to three years. LCBO 620880
