Bilingual and co-educational, Toronto French School offers programs leading to the International Baccalaureate Diploma. TFS delivers an enriched curriculum with an international perspective that places strong emphasis on bilingualism and high educational standards. We are known for excellence in French and English.
TFS welcomes boys and girls from PK to university entrance, whose parents want them to be able to speak French and also develop outstanding skills in English. Standardized tests in Grade 2 show that, even as TFS students are developing their French-language skills, they also perform a grade level ahead in English and mathematics. Fewer than 10% of new students have a French- language background when they enroll at TFS, but all are bilingual when they graduate. Our introductory program, which is offered from JK to Grade 7, is very successful at integrating students with no background in French.
TFS students are well-rounded. Our strong co-curricular program includes recreational and competitive sports, music, visual and dramatic arts. Students benefit from exceptional facilities and a diverse, non-denominational environment. We have two campuses: Toronto (PK - Gr. 12) and Mississauga (PK - Gr.7).
