Price Description

Soothing jazz mingles with chopping sounds from the kitchen at this romantic Thai restaurant, softly lit with candles. Inside the bamboo façade, fake tree branches extend from the walls and sequined elephant wall hangings lend a lovely eastern ambience. Diners chat over ubiquitous pad Thai and curries, as well as more unusual items, such as garlic and pepper lamb, and lemon grass salmon topped with mint leaves, sweet pepper, onion and pineapple. The house specialty, a combination satay, features skewers of tofu, squid, beef, shrimp, crabmeat and chicken—served with stir-fried mixed vegetables, rice and peanut sauce. Mains $7.95–$14.95.
