Thai goes upscale at this chic midtown lunch and dinner spot. Crisp linens and a modern chocolate brown decor set a dramatic backdrop for the vibrant dishes emerging from the discreetly hidden kitchen. Locals love such house specialties as Lobster Five Ways and Golden Seafood Kettle (shellfish poached in beer-based crab sauce). The rest of the traditional Thai menu covers fried rice, glass noodles and curries. Mango fish is a pan-fried seasonal fish with green mango and basil. Rack of lamb is marinated in rosemary, thyme and Chinese mustard. Mains $13–$20.
