Price Description

Mirrored walls and a sparkling disco ball provide this intimate Vietnamese restaurant with a surreal ’70s-era decor. Popular food items include fried rice (topped with steamed crab or pork chops), hotpots (brimming with seafood or assorted meats) and vermicelli soups (sprinkled with duck and bamboo). To drink: lively milkshakes featuring such unique ingredients as coconut, avocado and soursop; plus beer and cocktails. The restaurant’s “patio” consists of a small raised platform in the adjacent parking lot—not exactly an urban oasis, but perfectly in tune with Pho Bolsa’s offbeat charm. Mains $5.45–$9.95.
