The blue-and-white paint job, metal tables and blackboard menu signal a trad fish ’n’ chips shop, but there are a few surprises here: several kinds of batter (including a gluten-free version), a decent range of very fresh seafood (which can be grilled on request), even a pretty good garden salad dolled up with baby corn, soft grilled asparagus and balsamic dressing.
