Editorial Review

Don't be put off by the dark, slightly ominous exterior of this Queen East resto-lounge. Inside, the hungry find a breezy room with high ceilings and billowy white sheers dividing dark wooden booths. Soma's menu is composed of appetizers, salads and mains, with such selections as sweet chili–kaffir lime prawn cakes, seared scallop salad, quince-glazed New Zealand lamb loin and crisp prosciutto-wrapped pork. Mains $18–$30.
