Reviewed by Toronto LifeSexy and fun, this resto-lounge is a perfect fit among the stylish condos on Welling-ton. Tables are hard to come by on weekends, when the dining room morphs into a lounge after the last dessert is served. Chef Craig Alley offers playful spins on international favourites. A Louisiana-inspired plate of moist quails finds one bird southern-fried and the other blackened; sausage-studded dirty rice and collard greens are satisfying accompaniments. Pump-kin pie comes three ways: brûléed with cranberry sauce, topped with nutmeg crème fraîche, and paired with tiny warm churros that steal the show. Cocktails are mixed by a pro. Mains $19–$26.
