This lone, small Canadian branch of a popular Uruguayan chain of diners is masterful at providing cheap, filling South American favourites. Faina, a thin, crispy, polenta-like toast made from crushed chickpeas, tastes suitably salty and buttery. The real draws are the chivitos: huge, multi-layered steak sandwiches that come in three varieties (meat, chicken or Canadian).
