This solidly Hungarian restaurant has a homey feel. Deeply caramelized onions, sour cream and half a sausage top pleasingly chewy pierogies; hearty cabbage rolls, filled with paprika-seasoned ground pork and chaperoned by a mound of sauerkraut, make an ambitious appetizer. Golden-fried veal cordon bleu reveals a fine ham-and-cheese filling. Crisp cinnamon-scented apple strudel is the best dessert option. Cash only.
