Price Description

An upright piano, framed sketches and regular classical performances serenade the composer’s ghost at this spacious Roncesvalles restaurant. The mostly Polish menu features five varieties of schnitzel, including the Chopin, a breaded pork version topped with sautéed mushrooms. The Polish plate, featuring schnitzels, cabbage rolls, potato pancakes and pierogies, feeds hungry twosomes. A wide selection of Polish beers and spirits (including Zubrowka, the allegedly aphrodisiac bison grass vodka) is also on offer. Mains $6–$17.50.
