Price Description

When diners crave homemade comfort food, this traditional Middle Eastern restaurant supplies it. Singles and couples colonize one of the three dining rooms, with families in the back. Chicken shawarma, sliced from the roasting spit, draws crowds. Vegetarians find choice in three Mediterranean salads served with stuffed vine leaves and two pieces of falafel or baked eggplant. Homemade lentil soup is popular. A stocked espresso bar and a large selection of gelati round out the meal. Unlicensed. Mains $5–$8.35.
