Afternoon sippers choose from three savoury bento boxes ($25) and one sweet ($27), each comprising tastes that complement the salon’s many single-estate biodynamic blends of tea. While a traditionalist might choose the old-school Mad Hatter box, with its teacakes and sandwiches, the Snow Drop bento delivers grilled chicken with cashew sauce and parcels of spicy, lime-spiked mackerel that provide a perfect foil for white tea. Airy honey cake and bittersweet chocolate tartlet assuage any need for something sweet. High tea served from 2 p.m. Monday to Saturday, noon to 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Unlicensed.
