This 14-year veteran of Queen West offers sandwiches, salads, wraps, burgers, pizzas and pastas in a warm dining room that features an antique brass and copper espresso machine nicknamed “Electra.” The café's cosmopolitan undercurrent is revealed in such mains as the grilled chicken and avocado sandwich with brie, and the sandwich enveloping portobello mushroom, roasted red pepper aïoli and asiago. Lasagna and chili are both available with or without meat (in winter); the roasted vegetable and goat cheese wrap, grilled panini and burgers are popular choices. Specials change daily. Mains $6.95–$9.95.
