The Tex-Mex cuisine here grants all wishes, from traditional chili, fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, burritos and quesadillas to more exotic queso fundito (akin to veggie and chicken gratin) and deep-fried chicken or beef tortillas with cheese (chimichangas). A strawberry chimichanga in a chocolate tortilla complements specialty coffees (brandy, Kahlúa or Baileys). Eggs are the focus of the breakfast menu. The cave-themed washroom, with terra cotta vase sinks, is a must-see. In fact, the basement’s stone walls are original to the building, once a saloon and the last stagecoach stop going west out of Toronto. Mains $9.45–$16.50.
