Editorial Review

This cavern-like taqueria features traditional Mexican fare for Canadians and homesick expats alike. To start, there’s molletes Azteca, bread with refried beans, cheese and pico de gallo, followed by mains: fajitas, flautas and pollo con mole. For the more adventurous, camarones tampiqueños tosses shrimp in a spicy green tomatillo sauce with cactus. Tex-Mex tablecloths, artificial greenery and dim lighting limit ambience. Mains $13.95–$15.95.
