Canadian diners, be forewarned: patrons at this Mexican outpost maintain the Latino dinner hour. At 7 p.m., echoes bounce off the walls in the empty dining room, but by 9 p.m., a conversational buzz has filled the air as a mariachi singer warms up for his set. Seafood is a strong point. Camarones nopales, a pile of fat, garlicky shrimp cooked with soft shreds of nopalito cactus, is excellent, as are the enchiladas noterajes, tortillas dipped in searing hot piquillo sauce and wrapped around chopped shrimp. Mains $12–$20.
