Toronto has recently been inundated with a number of Mexican dives offering fast food. But here we find an elegantly decorated Mexican restaurant that strives to master quality and preparation in all its offerings. The menu ranges from burritos to nachos to chicken mole to fresh snapper ceviche to filet mignon in guajillo sauce, a spicy red wine blend. Carne asada with Cascabel chili salsa lures traditionalists. The specialty here is lamb barbacoa. Mains $12–$23.
