Editorial Review

Korean dining at Yonge and Finch has gone upscale, though the prices—happily—seem to stay the same. Soban presents bona fide food in a contemporary setting: exposed brick walls, modern furniture and a magnificent patio. The hungry choose from a list of udon soups or bi bim baps that include kimchee, beef, chicken and seafood. For the more daring, tuna and rice omelette intrigues. Mains $6–$13.
