Yamato Japanese Restaurant

Price Description

Kobe beef is the specialty in this upscale, lower-level restaurant. High-backed leather chairs and soft lighting belie the Far East aesthetic. So does the menu, which features steak over sushi. Menu highlights include rib-eye roll of thinly sliced prime beef wrapped around fried garlic and green onion and cooked to the diner’s liking right at the table. A special children’s menu offers teriyaki entrées with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a “special surprise.” Mains $12.95–$39.95.
