Edo-ko

Editorial Review

The Forest Hill Village version of the high-end Toronto sushi chain features a tranquil chocolate brown decor and a quiet, casual vibe. House specialties include Edo Appetizer (a twist on tempura, with seaweed-wrapped tempura shrimp) and local favourites: lobster tail tempura, karishi sumiso (seared tuna with mustard and miso) and nasu dengaku (baked eggplant with a sweet miso sauce). A short list of wines and sakes is available to match each course. Mains $6.95–$24.50.
