Price Description

Steps off Yonge, on a quiet residential street, sits this romantic Italian resto. Tony Bennett tunes waft through the air, his voice as velvety as the rich red draperies and damask-upholstered booths. Outside in summer, a large patio is lined with pansies. The menu is equally rich, featuring pastas in gorgonzola cream or white wine–tomato sauces. Entrées include veal marsala, seafood trio, chicken piccolo stuffed with spinach and asiago cheese in mushroom cream, and popular slow-braised lamb shank with mashed potatoes. Mains $14.95–$25.
