Editorial Review

The Annex location of this growing chain of health-conscious pizzerias offers a full-service dining room, and organic wines from Niagara and Italy. The enormous menu caters to vegetarians, vegans and celiacs without ignoring carnivores. To start, spicy baby arugula with raw mushrooms and pine nuts in a gorgonzola-balsamic vinaigrette bests mixed baby greens with mango and walnuts in an overly sweet berry dressing. Crisp thin-crust pizzas are made from white, organic spelt or gluten-free rice flour and come in myriad combinations, including the popular Veggie Pesto Magic (basil pesto, artichokes, roasted peppers, olives and pungent oka cheese). Lactose-free or vegan soy cheese rounds out the dairy-free options. The vegan chocolate cake is disappointingly past its best. Friendly service.
