The diners here, many Italians among them, must be regulars because the discreet façade barely suggests the cozy restaurant inside. Creamy arched ceilings, heavy linens (two layers) and old-school service give the place a formality that extends to the plate. The list of daily specials is almost as long as the menu, suggesting a restlessly inventive kitchen.
