Editorial Review

Just a few steps from Avenue, this rustic little trattoria is an oasis of calm. A fountain burbles in the private courtyard space, and up the stairs are three cozy dining rooms that feel like an authentic Tuscan farmhouse. Pizza, pasta and grilled dishes (grilled snapper or steak, for instance) make up the casual menu. When space is tight, lucky guests dine in the downstairs wine cellar. Mains $12.95–$24.95.
