Price Description

Area residents and tourists gossiping over an espresso keep the large side patio of this beloved College Street establishment (family owned and operated since 1968) buzzing from dusk onwards. An Italian menu emphasizes panini, pasta in tomato or cream-based sauces, thin-crust pizzas, panzerotti and calzones (but with veal scaloppine and chicken parmigiana for carnivores). Sweet Italian soft drinks, daiquiris and a number of desserts act as a counterbalance. The Dip’s soccer posters and bright, nondescript interior encourage socializing. Mains $3.25–$12.95.
