Editorial Review

"All references to dairy, egg or meat products are entirely fictional," reads the menu. The bustling, warm room with sage walls and an original tin ceiling is a favourite among Queen East vegans. Mains include the meat lover’s veggie burger (a seven-ounce veggie patty garnished with cilantro mayo, roasted tomato and caramelized onion) and mac ’n’ cheese (organic noodles with fresh tomato in a vegan cheese sauce). To drink, an extensive selection of fresh juices, including the High C, a carrot-orange-strawberry blend. Unlicensed. Mains $7.95–$11.95.
