Editorial Review

This sophisticated diner, open since 1948, welcomes patrons with checkered floors and dark wood booths, offering such diner classics as homemade meat loaf, fish and chips and crab cakes. Breakfast is always buzzing, with many options served all day, and the menu includes plenty of egg dishes, plus French toast and roasted westerns (named for the roasted veggies). Mains $14–$20.
