Michael Lau’s Kew Gardens restaurant has been dishing out Chinese and Canadian fare to Beach devotees for more than 30 years. Cantonese and Szechuan dishes are the big draw, with cheeseburgers and Western sandwiches thrown in for good measure. Customer favourites include Cantonese-style chow mein, sweet-and-sour chicken balls, General Tso chicken and chicken wings.
