Editorial Review

“Try the Royal Caribbean fish,” whispers the waitress at this cozy Caribbean restaurant, decked out in sunset hues and Jamaican flags. “It’s [NBA star] Jamaal Magloire’s favourite.” The aforementioned fried red snapper, accompanied by crunchy okra, is popular with Royal Caribbean’s less athletic, Red Stripe–swilling patrons, too. Other popular choices include braised oxtail, ackee bruschetta, shrimp spaghetti, and fiery jerk chicken (spiked with scotch bonnet peppers) for the daring. Mains $8–$20.
