The line snakes out the door of this tiny spice-scented takeout joint. The draw? Reasonably priced, authentic Caribbean items, such as jerk chicken, kingfish, oxtail, roti, and curried goat and chicken. Jamaican patties, fritters, plantains and island-style drinks, including Irish Moss, Ginseng Up and Ting, round out the meal. Newspaper clippings and a painting of Caribbean dancers provide the sole decor; seating consists of a single counter and chairs near the entrance, where kids sit patiently while their parents pick up food—and the teeny tab. Unlicensed. Mains $7–$13.
