Editorial Review

Low lights and a pulsing fusion soundtrack set the tone at this North York nightspot. The family-run coffee shop offers up Persian-style hospitality along with cocktails, coffee concoctions and 50 varieties of loose teas. The decadent Budalicious waffle sundae is a favourite on the short menu, which also offers a small sandwich selection (a toasted sandwich with Persian cold cuts, and a turkey sandwich) and desserts (white and dark truffle cake, cappuccino cheesecake). But the best-kept secret with the under-30 set is a $12 hookah pipe, stuffed with one of 12 fruit-scented tobaccos. Mains $4.75–$10.
