Editorial Review

Restaurant Makeover did this place well. Amid a handful of scruffy bars found in the area, Stoney’s rises above the rest in both decor and fare offerings. Solo visitors take a seat at the lacquered bar; groups indulge in a reuben sandwich or Atlantic salmon dinner. Fried onions, coleslaw and choice of potato round out other mains, such as fresh, house-made nine-ounce burgers, sandwiches and grilled Provimi calf’s liver. Mains $7–$15.
