Editorial Review

Rough around all the right edges, this wood-panelled art deco tavern embraces its paradoxes, as tuqued beer quaffers share space with couples sipping expertly built cocktails. Streamlined menus feature bistro fare with great veggie options. Smooth potato-leek soup comes subtly spiced, allowing its main ingredients the limelight. A New York strip loin comes sided with grilled asparagus. A short wine list offers many by the glass. Mains $14– $24.
