It may not look like the most inviting meeting place from the outside, but this huge pub’s interior welcomes with plenty of windows, wallpapered ceilings, rugs and candlelit tables. One of the oldest watering holes in Toronto (est. 1876), the Brunswick caters to a predominantly student crowd with a menu featuring standard pub grub: burgers, sandwiches, pasta, steak, fish ’n’ chips and the like. Mains $7–$18.
