Editorial Review

This cozy burger bistro has a loyal clientele, and a slew of newspaper and magazine accolades line its walls. The secret? Groucho’s claims it’s the sesame seed buns (heated on the grill) and the fresh, handmade beef patties (prepared daily on the premises) that make all the difference. Gourmet toppings include grilled eggplant, sun-dried tomatoes and grilled zucchini. The classics are present, too: the ubiquitous lettuce, onions and ketchup. Veggie burgers, milkshakes and meat-free sandwiches entice hungry vegetarians. A cute English bulldog motif pervades the family-friendly joint. Unlicensed. Mains $6.95–$9.
