This Danforth shop is a real crowd-pleaser: kids love the staggering selection of toys, games, books, sports gear, costumes and craft supplies, while parents take solace in the reasonable prices and stroller-friendly space. Classic brands line the organized shelves: Lego, Hello Kitty, Whoozit, Lamaze, Schleich, Playmobil, Gund, Thomas the Tank Engine. Horrible Science’s Blood, Bones and Body Bits ($40) teaches all about the workings of the heart, and travel games ($11) deter back-seat drivers from asking, “Are we there yet?”
